Welcome!
Dear Parent:
Webster Elementary is a neighborhood school centrally located in the quaint village of Allouez, adjacent to Webster Park, and within ¼ mile of the Fox River Trail and ½ mile of the East River Trail. Our school community serves approximately 370 students (Early Childhood, 4K – Grade 5). Webster School is home to several Special Education programs and the children and families served by these programs are welcomed enthusiastically in the regular education classrooms.
Every person who works at Webster School is responsible for the academic progress of ALL students. Teachers meet weekly in grade level teams to study and plan for literacy and numeracy development. Though we believe in “learning with a light touch,” we have high academic expectations for all students. Students benefit from partnerships with a variety of community groups such as University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St. Norbert College, NWTC, PREVEA Health, the Brown County Sheriff Department., and Junior Achievement, in addition to several individual, cherished volunteers.
Students and staff members at Webster follow the S.T.E.P. (Succeeding Together Expectations Plan) approach to create a warm and inviting environment in which students work toward group goals while developing personal responsibility. We operate as a family and we focus on building relationships among students, staff members and families through a mentoring program, an active Student Council, and a very supportive Parent-Teacher Organization. As the primary educator of their children, Webster School parents are welcome to volunteer in the school environment and at PTO events.
For more information, interested families are encouraged to contact Nancy Schultz, Webster Elementary School Principal at njschultz@gbaps.org or (920) 448-2143.
Sincerely,
Nancy Schultz
