Summer School 2016


District summer school offerings keep growing each year. Last year, more than 8,000 students attended summer school!
High school students can take classes to get ahead, catch up, or just get in shape. Elementary school students can take classes to have fun, learn something new, and help keep summer boredom away.
Please refer to the 2016 Summer School Coursebook for instructions and information on specific summer school offerings available for registration through the Green Bay Area Public School District. If you have questions about these course offerings or completing the registration forms, please call 920-448-2000 and ask for Summer School Assistance, or email Registrations and transportation requests will be accepted from April 1 - 15, 2016. 
In addition to the offerings in the Summer School Coursebook, there are opportunities for students to be involved in sports, music, enrichment, and academic classes that are offered individually through the middle and high schools, as well as some elementary schools. Please contact your student's school to inquire about additional classes that are available for your student.
Please note that there will be NO summer school classes from July 4-8, 2016 for all courses included in the Summer School  Coursebook.
Portal and paper registration runs from April 1 - April 15, 2016.
Important Dates:
  • March 28, 2016 - Booklets with specific course information will be available in schools and online (linked below under Important Forms)
  • April 1 - 15, 2016 - Registration window opens April 1 and closes April 15, 2016
  • June 1, 2016 - Bus schedules will be available at schools and online

Other Information:

  • Busing will be available to Wilder Elementary for east side residents and to Beaumont Elementary for west side residents
  • There is no busing available for courses held at the middle or high schools
  • There will be no fee for 2016 Summer School courses, unless the student is not currently enrolled in a Green Bay school, and does not live within the Green Bay Area Public School District boundaries. Non-resident, non-attending students must pay a fee of $50 per course, and complete a new enrollment form.
